Is India heading in the right way..?

Hi all ,
Its been a very tough week .. I was reading the dailies today, and one thing I found was day by day , media shows that our country is no where near our dream of becoming a developed nation.. Everywhere its the same , money laundering , corruption , lack of proper organization , all things which makes us feel like our country is going to dogs !! :-( Pity us..
Many instances grabbed my processor's attention , but some are retained in my storage,while the rest jus volatile.. May be its the nature of human mind , that only what interests me , is stored in my memory , god knows .. To mention a few ,

1. Eden Gardens which is one of our great cricketing grounds , was found to be way below the standard , to host a world cup match , in fact not even a international match , leave world cup.. Its another negative thing , which our country is portraying to the world, we all know what mess it was in Common Wealth games .. It was just some months before , when our country was exposed to the world as one of the corrupt countries in the world, and inefficient in organizing as wel as dealin with them..

 When countries like Bangladesh has made all its stadium renovated , we have put a sorry face , and still say that it wil be ready before the day of the match.. Consider our own BCCI's IPL auction , it was organized well before , date venue , logistics , and transport for all owners , etc. was arranged with perfection , this much more important than that is delayed..

2. Speaking of BCCI's IPL auction , no wonder again irregularities exists there too , Srinivasan , owner in CSK , is a member of Governing Council of IPL , he is involved in all meetings , he also plays a role in making decisions regarding IPL.. Nobody is questioning him , why he being in BCCI's job, a govt job , holds stake in CSK , while people blasted Shashi Tharoor . The thing is , the owners were told like , players will be grouped by their merit , as in one pool of players wil be batsmen , other one bein bowlers, and las one as all-rounders , but just before the day of auction , BCCI sent mail to all owners that , it wil not remain like that , and it will be a mixed pool , and asking the owners to reframe their strategy , and interesting thing to note is that , CSK retained almost all its players , while the rest wer strugglin a lot , it seems to me like Srinivasan ,

who would have been in the decsn making body , would have known about this ages before than the rest..
And they have sent Modi , out of this , as if he did all this alone, Srinivasan surely would have been his partner in crime..

3. Swiss bank accounts , I came to know of these accounts only thru movies , thanks to that.. When Swiss bank said that , it could reveal the names of account holders , to the country which they belong , Indian govt. didn approach them for years, and finally this year they have done it , ( atleas a improvement ) , govt. says it wont reveal the names to public , says about a confidentiality clause between the govt and the bank , leave that , govt says , its action will be to tax the people with that amount taken into consideration as their asset, and wil not question the source for it !! We have proof that they have been indulging in illegal activities, money laundering , and tax evasion , still the govt says, it cant do anythin except tax... I wonder why the govt is acting like this !!!

4.The worst for the last , burning of additional collector by mafia during raids to uncover illegal hoarding of kerosene and petrol.Sonawane,additional collector , had spotted a person taking out fuel from a parked oil tanker and questioned him. As the man fled away, Sonawane immediately alerted the local inspector to the spot to investigate.
As he was waitin, some people came on motorcycles and started beating him up, then poured kerosene on Sonawane and torched him.. A sad end to a good officer..
This occurred jus before our Republic day !!

Is this a way to celebrate our Republic day, no wonder the whole week is been been bad for the country, thank God , nothing bad happened  during Republic Day parade.

With more and more things , coming up , all we need is a Wiki-Leak in India..Hope something of that sort turns out soon , to disclose the tax evading people , and all those Nira Radia tapes, let atleas this year bring a change to our country..

The most awaited event !! Bes chance to conquer is NOW

India , always known as a land for unity in diversity , is bound to a game madly , no prices for ur guesses, its obviously well known , Cricket.. Indian's national game is hockey,which is losing its presence day by day in Indian arena, for reasons unknown to me , and I don't follow that game too , so no comments on that.. I follow only one game , cricket for reasons unknown. No Indian knows in fact , why India is bound to cricket , and how it started too, probably after 1983's world cup,where India conquered the world cup. But still , today when we look at the game , the game has grown a lot , from test cricket to ODI and now to T20s , and of course the cash rich IPL, which was developed to utilize the interest shown by Indians towards the game , and its only purpose was to make money , not jus money ,but MONEY.. And now the most prestigious tournament is approaching ,and everybody wants their country to win.. So lets have a look at our 15 , we have Sehwag , one of the exciting talents of the game , who once started wil continue his heroics,and its alwas difficult to stop him when he gets going , and then Gambhir , aggressive left hander , who fits as the right partner for Sehwag,they both go as bread and butter ,and alwas a treat to watch , and one of the successful opening pairs India has produced.Then we have Sachin , the oldest player in the team , who comes at one-down , no comments this great , If cricket is religion , Sachin is God , explains it all !!

Then we have Yuvi , who was once capped as next Dada, due to his aggressiveness,now looks like he has lost his Midas touch , still a nice stylish player , growing up and maturing as a cricketer, will have a pressure to perform as , Virat Kohli , is looking like the most deserving contender for the spot.And we have Suresh Raina, an amazing talent , who is brilliant in sub continent conditions ,and our captain cool Dhoni , under whom the team has matured a lot and achieved many feats , under him we won the inaugural T20 , under whom we won a test series agains Australia , under whom we saw the team performing wel in foreign conditions too , including a historic series level in South Africa ,and we are now consistent in tests, ranking numero one. And we have 2 all-rounders in our team , boom-boom Yusuf and Bhajji. While the former is playin is first world cup,the later is a experienced player, who is going thru a lean patch in his bowling ,but improving as a batsman,anywas he is lead spinner India now has, can win matches. And in our pace dept ,we have Zaheer and Nehra, leading our pace attack, and to assist them, we have Munaf and Praveen Kumar , a nice combination . The surprise inclusion is of Piyush Chawla,who las played a ODI in wayback 2008 , and R.Ashwin , who is emerging as a good player. The biggest surprise was the exclusion of Sreeshant , while everyone knew Murali Vijay , wouldn find a place for sure, while RohitSharma , a better player than him , with bowling abilities too was dropped in the first place. Ishant Sharma too , given a lot of oppurtunities,jus couldn find his way into the team.. While Piyush's inclusion has a small reason , he is the only leggie available,as rest all are off spinners, and in the sub-continent,spinners have always had an edge when compared to pace. To add pressure to Indian team , we are rated as run-away favourites, again no prices for guessin this , and we play in our home, and for a fact , no host ever won the cup , and most important of all,this will be all likely the God's las worldcup . Hope our captain cool grabs the cup this year in Mumbai , Jai Ho !!!

I feel , in current form of our players, this is the best chance for us to lay our hands on the cup. This is the best possible mix , which every team would love to have, but not to forget , its a team game and not a single player sport, its jus than one person has to deliver and rest all have to chip in the right time with the right moment,and no wonder who will be the person tryin to deliver it all the times, the master ofcourse. India's batting line up is unmatched , with the nice opening left-right openers,with the master next, and again 2 explosive right handers Dhoni and Yusuf, with 2 stlyish left handers Yuvi and Raina , we have got a brilliant right left pair in both the departments of the game,and we have a right amount of young and senior players too !! All things makes us feel that our men in blue , will achieve the historic feat once again , and make history as the first host country to conquer the world !!

Adukalam !! The team strikes again

Hi folks,
This Pongal , Dhanush, Vetrimaran , GVPrakash had again come back  , after their previous outing Polladhavan. Polladhavan was set in Chennai background , with bike as one of the characters which travels through out the movie. No wonder it was a big advertisement for Pulsar , it also had a good cast, Daniel Balaji and Kishore playing the important roles. This time too Vetrimaran , had found the apt people for the characters . Dhanush , no wonder he essays a boy-next-door role at ease , his performance being good throughout the  movie . His slang of Madurai dilect too , is nice , has taken a lot of effort for it for sure. This story , is set in Madurai , showing a different life of Madurai .

Madurai , traditionally shown in movies as a violent place , like Kudappa area in all Telugu movies , has been showed in a different view this time . While Polladavan showed the life of  Chennai based rowdies, this flick has cock fighting as its essence.
The stage is set like , its between 2 gangs ,in which one has won the games continuously . And the story continues , where Dhanush , Kishore , and Pettaikarar as a team defeat the other continuously in the fights. All 3 have portrayed their characters very cleanly . First half is very racy , with crisp editings and nice camera work, Particularly those scenes involving the fight of cocks , just before the interval is very clean and awesome to see. While Polladavan , showed the black market of bikes , this shows the things involved in fights, where losing is equivalent to losin one's life. Some scenes involving training of cock for fighting ,by Dhanush is very good, its like cock has been given a good screen presence,that also shows this fights are nt jus for fun .
And the story folds to much more heights with ego clashes between Pettaikarar and Dhanush , and could have been done better there, a bit more would have made it a awesome experience. Dhanush consideres Pettaikarar as his father , so he never suspects the wrong doings as Pettaikarar's revenge , and that serves the climax, so some feel the climax should have been better , but whatever the second half showed, climax justified it. This movie stands out , as there is no unwanted song sequences involved, and 2 songs Otha solala , and Yathe Yathe , stands out with the video, are my favourites.
No seperate comedians are there in the cast,while Dhanush adds fun element in the movie with his typical dialogues , which shows even jus-nex-door-boys can do anything lik big guys. Credits to the dialogues too.
Movie has fun,revenge,and a lot of emotions handled in the right manner, not even once u feel thats stretched ,and thats the big plus point in this movie. So do rush to theaters and see this flick .. ( Movie is shot in dark places, most of the scenes in second half is in night , so pirated cd's wont show yo the essence of the movie ).
Vetrimaran , again strikes , and Dhanush looks tailor made hero for his stories,hope they deliver in future too..
Vetrimaran makes his presence ,in the chase sequences in the dark streets of Madurai , and particularly in fight scenes involving men too , their fight too looks similar to cock-fights , and the screenplay. Credits to his work. !!

Politics. Media..Communication.. Huh !! even SAP's ERP couldn manage this

Its pongal time and its a big day for all movie lovers , many movies will be releasing today.. And to add more spice to it , today happens to be a friday , so better for the producers too.. ( Mind yo !!  I didn say distributors, :D ).. Last year our state govt changed tamil new year from April 14 to Jan 14th , I don know the political reasons involved.. So no comments.. I am not into politics , so I don have much idea about while my frens are very keen on it. All I see in the newspapers is the sports column , and the first sheet for the headlines.. Of late , after beginnin my corporate life , jus to pass the very tough after lunch hours, I started to read e-papers and news articles. So ,wen I was browsin in one of  the famous portal for news , I saw in the first page ,

  " Kavalan , releasing at-last , amidst the family feud "
I was wondering why this news making in the headlines , while there are n no of movies releasing . This movie has created a lot of hype , not that it has a big budget or nor a big landmark movie..Movie's lead Vijay is stuck in a very difficult situation with a continuous string of 'disasters' ( not jus flop's ). Still its in headline's !!
To make headline in TN , you have to belong to first family of the state , this is one thing even Rajnikanth cant do , nobody except Sun pics came for producing Robot,though Rajnikanth was lead hero.
So , I was thinking , what all the family has done to the state, they are into everything , from manufacturing pins to aircrafts. I don know whether Jesus's family line exists or not ,even if it exists, they live in solace unknown to the world, but this family is present everywhere, their presence felt everywhere ,without which we cant do even our daily activities..So lets have a look in their family tree, Karunanidhi's son with his first wife , Muthu was initially Karunanidhi's weapon against late MGR , Muthu was assigned by his father a duty to gain followers by acting in movies during the time when MGR had a huge base of fan following.While Muthu disappointed his father , he didn get what his father disired to do..With his second wife, 2 sons Stalin and Azhagiri , both of them following their father's footsteps is into politics.While Stalin is in Chennai , Alagiri is taking 'care' of the south part. If yo think its over with atleas the sons, his grandson's are into media , one having a banner Red Giant , other Cloud Nine. And with third wife , a daughter Kanimozhi. ( Mind yo , no where A.Raja comes into the picture, nan edum solala pa ,matravai ungal karpanaiku !! ) Kanimozhi's son with his first or second husband I don know , is Aadithya ,after whom a comedy channel belonging to the family is named. So this is his family,what about Karunandhi's siblings ?? There we go , Maran family is there , owning the party's biggest assest Sun TV, they have a string of channels associated with them.
Imagine , yo are a billionaire , all set to set up a media channel , it wil take a minimum of 2 years to set up and make profit . When there was a feud inside family, Kalaignar was disconnected to his media ,cos it was with Maran's , so in a span of 1 year , they launched Kalaignar , Adithya, Isaiaruvi , Kalaignar seidhigal !!
If I who don know anything much in politics, nor a ardent reader of newspapers , know this much details of the family, there is more left than what it meets the eye , obviously. Its not hiding salt in ocean , but its like hiding the ocean itself !!
This family can change even Tamil New year date !!

So they are in politics and media , but it doesn stop with that, everybody would have heard abt Ranganathan Strt in Chennai , its almost occupied by Saravana stores and Pothys , but somewhere in the middle , yo wil find a shop very old , Rathna stores, even tat Rajathiammal , Karunanidhi's wife has a stake ,and thats y its there in first place.

And they have newspapers and magazines everything , all ad's which you see in Sun tv wil definitely linked to their family somehow , Aircel , India Cements, to name a few, Yo cant figure out one industry which they aren involved in. Even Tata , who was considered one of the few industrialists who was not into corruption had to do a deal with Kanimozhi , for his Tata mobile services. ( Wats the connection between Telecom and Kanimozhi ?? nan edum solalinga ).. They say even British who ruled India , didn make that much money while our telecom minister Raja has brought a lot!!

I hope atleas the movie survives agains the family, I don want to ponder about the collection of the movie , if its screened in theaters properly , that itself wil be a success to our thalapathy !!
When I was in HP , in induction they challenged us to tel , one area of IT where HP wasnt involved, here too I challenge the same , tel one area of power where the family is not involved !!
